Co-Founder of the CAP CYBER Congress, Belfort, FRANCE
Jean-Luc Habermacher is Vice-President of the regional association (AR10) of France’s Institute for Higher National Defence Studies (IHEDN) and a National Delegate of the IHEDN Union. He co-founded CAP CYBER, the cybersecurity congress run by the Belfort Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The congress helps businesses, especially small and medium ones, understand cyber threats, AI and digital compliance. At CAP CYBER 2024 he gave the cyber threat assessment together with the French National Gendarmerie.
He also had a long industrial career, including at General Electric Power Conversion. He chaired the Vallée de l’Énergie energy cluster in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region until 2021.
