Co-founder and Director of Sibiu Cybersecurity Dialogues
Daniela Chrzanovski is a computer engineer who began her career working for several private companies before launching a project in Deva and Timișoara in 2002. This initiative was supported and financed from the start by Swiss official bodies. For 10 years, she managed and developed the Romanian-Swiss Multimedia Institute, which aimed to create the environment, support, and training for companies and organizations integrating new Internet technologies. She secured a dozen European projects, including two focused on mobile technologies.
In 2010, she organized a cybercrime conference and forum in Bucharest, fostering a public-private partnership among Romanian and Swiss organizations and companies. In 2012, she founded Swiss WebAcademy (SWA) in Sibiu, a professional association offering training in cutting-edge web technologies tailored to business needs. It partnered with Switzerland’s University of Applied Sciences “Haute École d’Ingénieurs Neuchâtel,” which provided expertise and accreditation for its programs.
In 2013, SWA launched a key project: the first edition of the “Sibiu Cybersecurity Dialogues Congress.” For the past 13 years, she has actively taught at SWA. She also serves as an associate professor at France’s University of Franche-Comté, delivering lessons on digital technologies integrated into the “Master en Droit du Numérique” program in Besançon. Additionally, she has taught “Web Hosting and Referencing” for the Master’s program at HE ARC Ingénierie in Switzerland.
She is one of the founders of the Cybersecurity Congress in Romania, which has held 10 editions in Sibiu, four in Italy, and events in Switzerland. The congress enjoys support from Romanian authorities under the aegis of H.E. the Swiss Ambassador to Romania. She is also the founder and a board member of the “Club Francophone d’Affaires de Sibiu.”
