Ionut Stoica is a Programme Officer at the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), where he manages large-scale cybersecurity projects and shapes policy feedback on emerging technological trends. With nearly two decades of experience in law enforcement and international capacity building, Ionut has served as the Head of CEPOL Cybercrime Academy and a Senior Project Officer within the Cybercrime Programme Office of the Council of Europe.

A recognized global expert, he has delivered numerous training activities for the UNODC across Southeast Asia and Central Asia, focusing on cybercrime investigations and electronic evidence.

Ionut holds a Master’s in International Police Cooperation and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Law and Communication, combining legal precision with strategic institutional relations.
