Orsolya Bakó is a cybersecurity consultant, data protection expert, and resilience strategist dedicated to building a culture of digital security through education, governance, and cross-sector collaboration. Her work focuses on strengthening organizational and ecosystem resilience by integrating cybersecurity, business continuity, and regulatory compliance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 22301, NIS2, GDPR, and the Cyber Resilience Act.

She is Vice President of Women4Cyber Romania and coordinator of the Cybersecurity Working Group within Transilvania IT Cluster, where she promotes community-driven cybersecurity education and capacity building across industry, academia, and public institutions.

Orsolya works closely with SMEs, public authorities, and innovation ecosystems to translate complex standards into practical resilience strategies. Her expertise includes implementing ISMS and business continuity frameworks, designing cyber-resilient governance models, and supporting organizations in aligning cybersecurity with digital transformation initiatives.

Through her involvement in European projects and regional innovation initiatives, she contributes to strengthening collaboration between public and private sectors and advancing resilience-by-design approaches that enable secure, trustworthy, and competitive digital ecosystems.
